New pain drug could cut opioid use after stomach cancer surgery

Summary
This study tests a new painkiller called Anrikefon for people recovering from stomach cancer surgery. It aims to reduce the need for strong opioids and lower side effects like nausea. About 114 adults having laparoscopic gastrectomy will receive either Anrikefon or a placebo to see if it safely controls pain.
