Scientists hunt for hidden immune culprit in Anorexia-Related liver damage
NCT ID NCT06869590
Summary
This study aims to understand if specific immune proteins (autoantibodies) are linked to liver damage in people with anorexia nervosa. Researchers will compare blood samples from 250 people, including those with anorexia and liver issues, those with anorexia without liver issues, and several control groups. The goal is to gather knowledge about the biological mechanisms of anorexia, not to test a treatment.
