New oral drug trial offers hope for rare, Tough-to-Treat sarcomas

Summary

This study is testing an oral medication called anlotinib for people with advanced forms of soft tissue sarcoma that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The main goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow their growth compared to standard chemotherapy. The trial is currently open for adults with a rare type called alveolar soft part sarcoma.
