First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at how limited ankle movement affects knee pain in women with patellofemoral pain (pain around the kneecap). Researchers will measure ankle flexibility and how it changes the way participants do a single-leg squat. The goal is to better understand the connection between ankle tightness and knee pain. 60 women aged 18-59 with long-term knee pain and limited ankle motion will take part.
