First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study is testing a new robotic ankle exoskeleton designed to help people who have had a stroke walk more easily. About 15 stroke survivors will wear the device while walking on a treadmill, overground, and on stairs or ramps. Researchers will compare walking with the powered exoskeleton to walking without it to see if it reduces effort and improves movement.
