Robotic ankle braces aim to keep seniors walking stronger

NCT ID NCT06284525

Summary

This small, early study tested whether wearable devices that provide ankle assistance or resistance could help older adults walk better. Nine participants aged 65-85 tried different powered braces during walking tests. Researchers measured changes in walking distance, energy use, and leg strength to see if the devices improved mobility.
