NCT ID NCT05400590
First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at two treatments made from a person's own blood to help heal the cornea (the clear front part of the eye) in people with aniridia, a rare eye condition. The goal is to see if growth factor-rich plasma works better than the usual autologous serum at healing corneal cells and reducing scarring. The study involves 24 participants (aniridia patients and healthy volunteers) and is done in a lab, not on patients directly.
