First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at two treatments made from a person's own blood to help heal the clear front part of the eye (cornea) in people with a rare eye condition called aniridia. The goal is to see if a special plasma rich in growth factors works better than the usual serum treatment at healing cells and reducing scarring. The study involves 24 participants (people with aniridia and healthy volunteers) and is done in a lab, not on patients directly.
