First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tests whether a diabetes drug (SGLT2 inhibitor) can improve blood flow in the tiny heart vessels of women who have chest pain but no blocked arteries. About 150 women will take either the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks and have heart scans and questionnaires. The goal is to see if the drug eases symptoms and improves quality of life.
