Which heart drug works better for seniors? major study seeks answers

NCT ID NCT05786417

Summary

This study compares two types of common heart medications (beta-blockers vs. calcium channel blockers) for older adults with stable chest pain and multiple other health conditions. Researchers want to see which medication works better to improve quality of life, reduce symptoms, and has fewer side effects. The study will follow 741 participants for 12-24 months to measure how well they can perform daily activities and how the medications affect their overall well-being.
