New heart wire placement methods tested for better pacemaker results
NCT ID NCT07110922
Summary
This study is testing two different methods to help doctors place a pacemaker wire in a specific area of the heart called the Bachmann bundle. Researchers want to see if using a special dye with x-rays works better than using heart electrical signals with the dye and x-rays for placing this wire. The study involves 50 adults who already need a permanent pacemaker or defibrillator implanted as part of their regular care.
