First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how different types of anesthesia affect blood pressure stability during organ removal in brain-dead donors. About 270 donors will be randomly assigned to receive either a gas anesthetic, a painkiller, or no anesthetic at all. The goal is to find which approach keeps blood pressure most stable, which may help preserve organ quality for transplant.
