Summary
This study aims to understand how different anesthesia drugs affect measurements of esophageal muscle function during a diagnostic test called FLIP topography. Researchers will enroll 30 adults with swallowing disorders like achalasia who are undergoing a specific endoscopic procedure. The goal is to determine which anesthesia approach provides the most accurate test results to better guide treatment decisions.
