Summary

This study compares two common anesthesia methods used during emergency stroke surgery to remove blood clots. Researchers want to see whether inhaled anesthesia or intravenous (IV) anesthesia leads to better recovery and independence 90 days after surgery. The study will help doctors choose the best anesthesia approach for stroke patients undergoing this life-saving procedure.
