Gas vs. gas: the battle to prevent surgery sore throats

Summary
This study aims to see which of two common anesthesia gases, sevoflurane or desflurane, causes less sore throat after gallbladder removal surgery. It will involve 70 adults having planned surgery. Researchers will carefully monitor patients after surgery to compare throat pain, hoarseness, and cough between the two gases.
