Anesthesia mystery: why do muscles Re-Weaken after surgery?

NCT ID NCT04048655

Summary

This study aims to understand how often patients' muscles become weak again after they have already recovered from anesthesia-blocking drugs. Researchers will monitor 120 adults undergoing elective surgery to see if muscle strength drops back down after it initially returns to a safe level. The goal is to measure how common this 'post-recovery relaxation' is, as its cause and frequency are currently unclear.
