Doctors test Sleepy-Time trick for more accurate Kids' eye tests
NCT ID NCT03972852
Summary
This study aimed to create a standard anesthesia method for children who need eye exams for glaucoma. Young children often can't stay still for these important pressure checks, so they must be put to sleep. Researchers tested if using a specific, safe anesthesia plan would lead to more consistent and reliable eye pressure measurements during these exams.
