Better Wake-Up test? study compares anesthesia recovery monitors
NCT ID NCT06220136
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two monitoring methods is better at determining when it's safe to remove a patient's breathing tube after surgery. Researchers will compare two ways of measuring muscle recovery in 199 adults undergoing general anesthesia. The goal is to see if a newer calculation method provides a more accurate signal for safe patient wake-up than the standard method currently used.
