Summary
This study is testing whether using special monitors to guide the doses of anesthesia drugs during surgery can help prevent serious complications afterward. It will involve over 1,100 elderly patients who are at high risk for problems like kidney failure, heart issues, or delirium after major surgery. Researchers will compare outcomes between patients whose anesthesia is guided by these monitors and those who receive standard care.
