NCT ID NCT03737526
First seen Jun 16, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 16, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 107 women having a first-time cervical procedure (LEEP) for abnormal cells. Researchers compared local anesthesia (cervical block) versus general or spinal anesthesia to see if it changed the size of the tissue removed. The goal was to understand if the type of anesthesia influences how much tissue is taken, which could affect treatment success.
