Could your anesthesia choice affect cancer recovery?
NCT ID NCT07207304
Summary
This study looked at whether the type of anesthesia used during liver cancer surgery influences a patient's recovery and long-term health. Researchers compared four different anesthesia methods in 153 patients to see if they affected inflammation, pain medication needs, and cancer recurrence over one year. The goal was to find out if certain anesthesia techniques could lead to better outcomes after surgery.
