Summary
This study aims to understand if general anesthesia given to pregnant women during abdominal surgery affects their child's intelligence and development later in life. Researchers will compare three groups of children: those exposed to anesthesia before birth, those not exposed, and those exposed to maternal inflammation. The study is observing children born between 2000 and 2023 to look for long-term effects.
