Where you put the machine could save a life: study tests anesthesia setup

This study looks at whether the placement of the anesthesia machine in an operating room affects how well anesthesiologists handle crisis situations. About 60 doctors will manage a simulated emergency using a manikin, with the machine placed in either an easy or awkward position. Their performance and ventilation skills will be compared to see if equipment layout matters for patient safety.
