Summary

This study looked at whether the level of anesthesia affects a person's ability to hear spoken words without being aware of it, and whether this affects anxiety after surgery. Researchers studied 70 adults having urologic or orthopedic surgery. The goal was to understand how deep anesthesia influences unconscious memory and post-surgery anxiety.
