Can a computer predict your anesthesia depth?

NCT ID NCT07237477

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested how well a computer model predicts anesthesia depth compared to actual brain monitors. Seventy adults having elective surgery were split into two groups based on how they received anesthesia (slow vs. fast induction). The goal was to see if the model's predictions matched the brain monitor readings during the first 20 minutes after patients lost consciousness.
