Could anemia be slowing Kids' recovery from a dangerous diabetes complication?
NCT ID NCT07377604
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if children with low red blood cell counts (anemia) take longer to recover from diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious diabetes complication. Researchers will analyze data from about 150 children aged 1-18 who were treated for DKA. The goal is to understand if anemia is linked to longer hospital stays and slower recovery times.
