Summary

This study tested whether a daily pill called anamorelin could help prevent severe weight loss and poor appetite in people with advanced pancreatic cancer who were starting chemotherapy. The goal was to see if the drug could help patients maintain their weight and strength to better tolerate treatment. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 4 of a planned 100 participants.
