First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested a new consultation method called M2-PRIME, which uses simple analogies like the 'Garbage and Lorry' to explain how the body handles sugar. 106 adults with type 2 diabetes on insulin and high blood sugar took part. Over six months, doctors used this approach during three visits to see if it helped lower HbA1c and fasting blood sugar.
