Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 20 adults who had a limb amputated to relieve severe, long-lasting pain from complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) after other treatments failed. Researchers want to measure how long it takes for patients to get fitted with a working artificial limb and return to activities. The goal is to learn from these cases to improve care for future patients facing this difficult choice.
