New hope for Tough-to-Treat anal and rectal cancers

NCT ID NCT06669572

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two drugs, lenvatinib and pembrolizumab, can help control advanced anal or rectal cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to standard chemotherapy. It will involve about 35 adults whose cancer has progressed after initial treatment. The main goal is to see if the combination can shrink tumors and for how long it can keep the cancer from getting worse.
