NCT ID NCT07250711

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether doing pelvic floor exercises (called anal lift exercises) and changing diet early after anal fistula surgery can help reduce pain, bleeding, and discomfort. About 124 adults aged 18 to 55 who have had anal fistula surgery will be split into two groups: one doing the exercises plus diet changes, and one getting standard care. The goal is to see if these simple steps can speed up recovery and improve bowel function.
