Summary

This study looked at how often anal incontinence (leaking stool or gas) happens after a tear during childbirth called obstetrical anal sphincter injury. Researchers studied 227 women who had this injury between 2005 and 2019. The goal was to find out how common the problem is and what factors make it more likely.
