New program aims to break down clinic stigma for better HIV and cancer care

NCT ID NCT07464236

Summary

This study is testing a program called PEACHES 2.0, which aims to reduce stigma in healthcare clinics. The goal is to see if reducing stigma makes it easier for doctors to offer, and for patients to receive, important services like anal STI testing, HIV prevention medication, and cancer screening. The research will take place in eight clinics in the Mississippi Delta, a region with high rates of HIV and STIs, to learn what works best.
