New drug combo trial offers hope for advanced colon cancer patients

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called AMT-676 in combination with standard chemotherapy drugs for people with advanced colorectal cancer that cannot be surgically removed. The main goals are to see if the combination is safe, what side effects occur, and whether it helps shrink tumors or slow cancer growth. About 180 participants will join this Phase 2 trial at multiple medical centers.
