New graft tested to heal stubborn diabetic foot sores faster

NCT ID NCT06420245

Summary

This study is testing if a special graft made from amniotic membrane, called Orion™, helps diabetic foot ulcers heal better when added to standard wound care. It will involve 240 people over age 50 and compare healing rates and quality of life over 12 weeks between those who get the graft and those who receive standard care alone. The main goal is to see if more sores fully close with the added graft treatment.
