Birth tissue could heal stubborn leg wounds
NCT ID NCT07061613
Summary
This study is testing whether a skin graft made from amniotic tissue can help heal chronic leg ulcers caused by poor circulation. Ten participants with leg ulcers will receive weekly applications of the graft along with standard compression therapy. Researchers will track how many wounds completely close and how quickly they heal over several weeks of treatment.
