Summary
This early-stage study tests whether amlodipine, a blood pressure medicine, is safe and can help reduce muscle stiffness and improve strength in 20 adults with Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1. Participants take the drug for 10 weeks, with some getting a higher dose later. The goal is to see if it's safe enough for a larger trial.
