Summary

This study tested a personalized approach to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults aged 60 and older. Doctors assigned patients to either strong or milder chemotherapy based on their genetic risk and a detailed health assessment. The goal was to see if this tailored strategy could improve survival and quality of life compared to standard approaches.
