New drug cocktail tested in fight against Tough-to-Treat leukemia
NCT ID NCT04848974
Summary
This study tested a new combination of three chemotherapy drugs for adults with a specific type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that developed after treatment for another blood disorder. The main goals were to find the safest and most effective dose of the drug combination and to see how well it worked to put the leukemia into remission. The trial involved 37 participants and tested the drugs in both an initial intensive phase and a follow-up maintenance phase.
