New oral drug cocktail aims to tame Tough-to-Treat leukemia

Summary

This study is testing a combination of three oral drugs to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has come back or hasn't responded to previous treatments. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can help control the cancer. The trial will enroll about 84 adults with specific genetic mutations in their cancer cells. Patients will take the drugs in repeating 28-day cycles for up to a year.
