Scientists search for hidden cause of leukemia relapse

NCT ID NCT07379528

Summary

This study aimed to understand why some patients with a specific, often treatable type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) still relapse. Researchers analyzed bone marrow cells from 70 patients to see if certain cells in the bone marrow environment help leukemia cells survive treatment. The goal was to gather knowledge that could lead to better ways to predict or prevent relapse in the future.
