New hope for rare cancer: drug targets hard-to-treat tumors

Summary

This study tests a drug called amivantamab in people with a rare salivary gland cancer (adenoid cystic carcinoma) that has spread or come back. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow the cancer's growth. About 21 adults with measurable disease and recent progression will receive the treatment.
