Scientists pinpoint preemie nutrition needs
NCT ID NCT06372314
Summary
This study aims to find out exactly how much of four essential building blocks (amino acids) stable, premature babies need when they are fed entirely through an IV. Researchers in Brazil will measure how babies' bodies use these nutrients by analyzing their breath and urine. The goal is to provide better guidance for creating IV nutrition formulas for newborns.
