Common drug tested as new shield against debilitating migraine aura
NCT ID NCT04063540
Summary
This study is testing if a drug called amiloride can help prevent the visual or sensory disturbances (aura) that some people experience before a migraine headache. It will involve 40 people in France who have frequent migraine with aura. Participants will try taking amiloride and a placebo in a random order to see which one better reduces their number of aura attacks.
