First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether amiloride, a drug used for high blood pressure, can reduce the number of migraine aura attacks. About 40 adults with migraine with aura will take amiloride or a placebo for several weeks, then switch. The goal is to see if amiloride can prevent the visual or sensory symptoms that often come before a migraine headache.
