Scientists scan 1,000 eyes to predict blindness risk

NCT ID NCT05698316

Summary

This study aims to build a large database of detailed eye scans from 1,000 people with intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Researchers will analyze these scans to identify early signs that predict which patients are most likely to progress to more severe vision loss. The goal is to better understand the disease to help develop future prevention strategies.
