Doctors in your pocket: testing video calls to save kids in ambulances

NCT ID NCT07027813

Summary

This study is testing whether connecting ambulances to remote pediatric doctors via simple video calls can improve emergency care for critically ill children in Pakistan. During transport, one group of children will get a video consultation with a doctor, while another group receives standard paramedic care. Researchers will compare the health status of children in both groups upon arrival at the hospital to see if the remote doctor guidance helps.
