Ultrasound may help Alzheimer's drugs reach the brain

Summary
This study tests whether using focused ultrasound to temporarily open the blood-brain barrier is safe and feasible when combined with standard antibody therapy for people with mild Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment. The approach aims to help more medication reach the brain. Fifteen participants will be monitored for side effects and changes in brain plaques and cognitive function.
