Can a sensory room ease Alzheimer's agitation and help caregivers?

NCT ID NCT07279103

Summary

This study is testing whether a special sensory-based occupational therapy can help people with moderate Alzheimer's disease. Over four weeks, participants will experience a controlled environment with lights, sounds, and textures designed to improve mood, reduce agitation, and support thinking. The research also aims to see if this approach lessens the stress and burden felt by family caregivers.
