Researchers test online tools vs. doctor calls for delivering Alzheimer's risk news
NCT ID NCT06459583
Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to tell people their genetic risk for Alzheimer's disease. Researchers compared two methods: an online platform people could use on their own, and a video call with a healthcare provider. They measured how each method affected participants' anxiety, knowledge, and emotional distress after learning their results.
